About
Since 1990 this wonderful ministry Homes of Hope (Casas de Esperanza) has been bringing a message of love and transformation to vulnerable families, through the no-charge construction of new homes.
YWAM Monterrey has united in this challenge, building homes for those who are in need and, in this way, provoking transformation in the most vulnerable areas of our city.
HOW, WHO, WHERE AND WHEN:
The construction of a house takes approximately 3 or 4 days, during which people or teams voluntarily give of their time and finances, in order to complete the goal of giving the gift of a home.
All those who have a calling and a desire to serve and bless those in need are welcome - it does not matter whether the team has a large number of people available - the important thing is your enthusiasm and desire to bless others.
The families who receive a house are selected without discrimination, based on criteria which indicate their level of need. Some of the factors considered include:
- Monthly financial income.
- Number of people living in the home.
- Living conditions.
- It is very important to confirm that the family hold the title deeds of ownership of the property where their house will be built.
The Youth with a Mission team carry out this process, taking the time to select the families.
We build houses for people in need, because it changes their lives.
